The golf course is the dominant feature of the project. The idea for this came both from the area available, which is amply sufficient for a golf course, and from the worldwide development of golf-based tourism.

The attractiveness of the area for golfers is gradually leading to the three courses currently available becoming saturated, so it has become impossible to play golf at certain times of the year.
The idea of a new golf course appealed to the government when the convention was signed and will certainly appeal to the future owners of a villa or a riad at the Samanah Country Club.

Our ambition to create a high quality property development here implied that we had to have a top quality golf course. In choosing Nicklaus Design, we were sure that we would get a course requiring really accurate play.
